Trissur based cultural organization Sooryakanthi is conducting a three day dance festival ‘Sooryakanthi festival 2022’ from October 20-22 at the Regional theatre Trissur. Day one will feature a Mohiniyattam performance ‘Vande Vinayakam’ by Kanlandhika School of Dance , Kochi and a Kuchipudi performance by Nrithyaravali cultural academy Hyderabad. The second day will feature a Kuchipudi performance by Dr. Swathi Narayanan and a Bharatanatyam performance ‘Bhoumi’by Manju V NAir and her troupe. Sooryakanthi puraskarams will be presented to Kathakali maestro Kalamandalam Gopi and Art Critic Prof. G S Paul on the last day of the festival.
