In memmorial of Mohiniyattam exponent Kanak Rele, Bharatam cultural organisation will conduct a three day Mohiniyattam Workshop at Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academi Natyagruham, Trissur, Kerala from May 29-31. The workshop will focus on the Fundamentals of Kanak style including body kinetics and adavus. Mohiniyattam danseuse, Sithara Balakrishnan, alumna, Nalanda Research Centre , Guru Kalamandalam Gopalakrishnan, Kalamandalam Gireeshan (both ex-faculties of Nalanda Research Centre), Dr. Rachitha Ravi, Kerala Kalamandalam are the resource persons and art critic Prof G S Paul is the director of the workshop.
