    Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi announces Awards 2020

     The Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi has announced the awards,  Fellowships and Gurupuja Puraskaram-s for 2020. 

     It’s award time in Kerala’s culturalscape again.  

    The Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi Fellowship 2020 will be presented to Pirappancode Murali (Theatre), Kalamandalam Vasu Pisharody (Kathakali) and Tripunithura Radhakrishnan (Music- Ghatom).  The Fellowships consist a cash prize of Rs. 50,000/-, citation and memento.  

    The Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi Awards will be presented to seventeen artistes from various fields including Rajani Meloor (Theatre), E.A. Rajendran (Theatre), Pradeep Malavika (Theatre), Manaloor Gopinath (Ottan Thullal), Suresh Babu T (Theatre), Gopalan Adat (Theatre),C.N. Sreevalsan (Theatre), K. Venkitaramanan (Music – Vocal), Babu Narayanan (Music – Violin), Premkumar Vadakara (Light Music – Composing), Reena Murali (Light Music – Singer), Natesh Shankar (Light Music), Kalamandalam Jishnu Prathap (Kutiyattam), Vinaya Chandran (Kerala Nadanam), Kavitha Krishnakumar (Mohiniyattam), Peringode Chandran (Thimila)and Thrikkulam Krishnankutty (Kathaprasangam).  

    The Gurupuja Puraskaram will be given to nineteen artistes including Meena Ganesh (Theatre), Rathnamma Madhavan (Theatre), Cochin Hassanar (Theatre), Meena Raj (Theatre), Nilambur Mani (Theatre), Cherai Suresh (Theatre), Kuryanad Chandran (Theatre), E.T. Varghese (Theatre), Ajayan Unniparambil (Theatre), P.V.K.Panayal (Theatre), K.R. Prasad (Dance Drama), M.S. Prakash (Instrumental Music), Babil Perunna (Street Theatre), E.V. Valsan (Light Music), M.K. Venugopal (Ballet (Dance Drama) Music), Kalamandalam Sreedevi (Aranmula) (Bharathanatyam), Chavara Dhanapalan (Kathaprasangam), Parakkad Thankappan Marar (Thimila) and Ramesh Menon (Music).
