    The award carries a purse of Rs 25,000 and a citation

    Kathakali maestro Kalmandalam Keshavadev won the prestigious Pattikkamthodi award 2021, instituted by Kerala Kalamandalam in memory of renowned Kathakali guru Pattikkamthodi Ravunni Menon. Keshavadev is well known for his Thaadi veshams.

    The award carries a purse of Rs 25,000 and a citation. The panel of judges consisted of Padmashri Dr. Kalamandalam Gopi, Vice-Chancellor Dr. T. K Narayanan, and Kathakali Northern Dept Head Kalamandalam Suryanarayanan. Dr. T.K Narayanan will present the award on September 18, Saturday in a ceremony to be held in memory of the master.
