Why are the Aruti adavus important?

Adavus, the primary dance units are the sub-divisions of the pure dance (nritta) of Mohiniyattam which are produced by a harmonious combination of various types of gestures, body movements, mandalas, footwork and charis.  In the past few series, we discussed different classes of Adavu-s and now we are talking about the last part of adavus, called Aruti Adavus. Aruti adavus or kalashachuvadukal are usually performed at the end of an adavu sequence. 

In the last part, we demonstrated, the first four aruti adavus. The next four aruti adavus are described below.
