How to practise Dhaganam adavus with perfection?
In the last series, we discussed the first three adavus of Dhaganam category. Here we are exploring the next three adavus in Dhaganam.
Dhaganam Adavu 4
Commence the adavu by standing in aramandalam with arms bent in muzhuvrittam with hamsasya mudra held in front of the chest. For “Dha,” stamp the right foot. For “Nu,” stamp the right foot once again. For “Thanam”, bring the left foot behind the right foot. For “Thari”, jump slightly in the same place using your toes. For “Dhanu Thanam Thari”, circularly move both the arms, making a curve from bottom to top, finally bringing it above the head as given in the picture. During this movement, the eye must follow the left hand. For “Dhi Tha Dhanam Thari”, both the arms move back in the same path traversed earlier, from top to bottom. During this movement, the eye must follow the right hand. Repeat the same steps on the left side as well.
